I am Jorja Henwood, an illustrator with a focus on children’s book illustration and doll making. I was born and raised in Eswatini and went to school at Waterfod Kamhlaba United World College (UWCSA) which has allowed me to bring a unique perspective into all of my creative endeavors, utilising my culture and lived experiences to educate and build community. I use a diverse range of mediums including oil, acrylic, digital, pen and ink, and more.

I am currently studying at Ringling College of Art and Design as a second year illustration major with a business of art and design minor. I work with the school’s volunteerism department to connect with the local community and gain experience with team collaboration.

My achievements include a Davis World Scholarship and an emerging leadership award from Ringling College.
